books through bars

Books Through Bars is a Philadelphia based nonprofit that works to provide incarcerated citizens with free access to books. Providing services to 6 states, these books have been supporting self-determination, self-education, and healing behind bars for over 30 years. Running mainly on donations, Books Through Bars is supported by community and the hope for prison reform.

This rebrand will attract more volunteers and donations by appealing to an audience of young adults interested in social justice and prison reform. With intentionally tactile branding including paper and stamps, Books Through Bars could keep down costs and allow the bulk of donations to go directly to the cause.
